Back again in the Netherlands, I announced my final decision to my current employer that I decided to go to Suriname and leave NXP. At Nov. 7 I submitted my discharge certificate to my manager. The planned departure to Paramaribo is at Jan. 8, 2015. However a new trip to the consulate is necessary for a new request of a staying permit. The last time I was at the consulate with all the documents, they found the text of the employer statement not correct. Recently a new document has been received from Sky Radio in Paramaribo, so hopefully this third time the consulate will accept my request.
